How to say “How are you?” in Korean

잘 지내세요?

jal jinaeseyo?

Literally: are you getting along well?neutral

Mostly used when you haven't seen someone for a while, not as a daily greeting; 안녕하세요 already covers that. A typical reply is 네, 잘 지내요 ("Yes, I'm doing well"). Koreans also greet with 밥 먹었어요? ("Have you eaten?").
