How to say “Cheers!” in Japanese

乾杯!

kanpai!

Literally: dry the cupneutral

Called out together at the start of a meal or party, often after a short speech, and nobody drinks before the kanpai. Pour drinks for others rather than yourself; holding your glass a little lower than a superior's is a polite touch.

In a sentence

それでは、お疲れ様でした。乾杯!

Sore de wa, o-tsukaresama deshita. Kanpai!

Well then, thanks for all your hard work. Cheers!
