Le storie di Giufà

The Tales of Giufà

Giufà, the big-hearted fool of a Sicilian seaside village, takes every word literally: told to pull the door behind him, he carries it to church. Sixteen linked folk tales from Giuseppe Pitrè's 19th-century collection, freshly retold in Italian that grows from first-day A1 to A2. A plaster statue full of gold, flies put on trial, a fake funeral that frightens thieves, and a wager only Giufà can win.
